Your miner
- Digital miner
- What you buy on GoMining: a share of the hashrate in its data centres, issued as an NFT. It has two numbers, power in TH and efficiency in W/TH, and it can be upgraded or sold on the marketplace. Sizes go from 1 to 5,000 TH in 20 levels.
- How to start, step by step
- TH (terahash per second)
- The miner's power: a trillion attempts per second at solving a block. Your reward is your TH as a share of the whole network's.
- Priceabout $19 per TH new at 12 W/TH (GoMining app, 8 Oct 2026)
- How much bitcoin 1 TH mines per day
- W/TH (energy efficiency)
- The watts each TH draws. Lower is better: it multiplies your electricity bill. New miners are 12 W/TH; 15 is the other common level.
- Todayelectricity for 1 TH at 12 W/TH: $0.0144 a day

The network
- Network hashrate
- All the computing power mining bitcoin right now. Your TH are a slice of it, so when it grows, each TH mines less. This site derives it from the difficulty.
- Today950.02 EH/s
- Why rewards lag bitcoin's price
- Difficulty
- The number Bitcoin readjusts every 2,016 blocks (about two weeks) so that a block comes out every ten minutes whatever the hashrate. It sets what each TH gets paid.
- Today132.72 T
- How the reward is calculated
- Block reward
- What the miner of each block receives: the subsidy of newly issued bitcoin plus the transaction fees. There are about 144 blocks a day.
- Today3.125 BTC subsidy + 0.0172 BTC in fees
- The full formula
- Halving
- Every 210,000 blocks the subsidy is cut in half. The next one, at block 1,050,000, takes it from 3.125 to 1.5625 BTC.
- Today78,450 blocks to go · around April 2028
- GoMining and the 2028 halving
- Satoshi (sat)
- The smallest unit of bitcoin: 1 BTC is 100,000,000 sats. What one TH earns is so small that it's counted in sats.
- Today1,000 sats = $0.81
- sat/TH per day
- How many sats each TH earns in a day: what the network issues divided by the network's hashrate, times the pool factor. It doesn't depend on bitcoin's price.
- Today47.39 sat paid (47.63 theoretical)
- How much 1 TH mines per day
- Hashprice
- The same thing in dollars: what 1 TH earns in a day before costs. It rises with bitcoin's price and falls as difficulty rises.
- Today$0.0384 per TH a day
- Bitcoin price vs hashprice
- Pool factor
- The share of the network's theoretical reward that actually reaches you, after pool fees and luck. Measured with 30 days of real GoMining payouts in October 2026.
- Measured0.995

Costs and discounts
- Maintenance fee
- What GoMining deducts from your reward every day: electricity ($0.05–0.07 per kWh × W/TH × TH) plus a service fee of $0.0089 per TH. It's charged in dollars, whatever bitcoin does.
- Today$0.0233 per TH a day at 12 W/TH: 61% of what that TH mines
- The maintenance fee, line by line
- Token discount
- Up to 20% off maintenance if you pay it with GOMINING tokens: 1% for every 18 days of maintenance your token balance covers, 20% from 360 days.
- The four discounts
- VIP level
- An account level worth 0.3% (Bronze II) to 6% (Elite) off maintenance. It's set by your TH, your veGOMINING votes or your referral activity, whichever is highest. You don't buy it.
- How the VIP level climbs
- Service button
- A button in the app worth +0.3% off maintenance for each consecutive day you press it, up to 3% after 10 days. Miss a UTC day and it starts again.
- The four discounts
- Reward Protection
- What you get by paying maintenance in GOMINING: on a day when the reward doesn't cover the maintenance, the result is zero instead of a negative balance. No payout and no debt.
- BTC or GOMINING: how to pay maintenance
- Break-even bitcoin price
- The bitcoin price below which a miner's maintenance costs more than it mines. Above it you earn; below it every day costs you money.
- Today$49,200 for 12 W/TH without discounts

Token and game
- GOMINING token
- GoMining's utility token. You use it to pay maintenance (and earn the discount), to buy on the marketplace, to play Miner Wars and to lock as veGOMINING.
- Today$0.3837
- What the token is for
- veGOMINING
- Voting power you get by locking GOMINING tokens: votes = locked tokens × (time left ÷ 4 years). Each week the votes decide how part of the newly minted tokens is shared out, including the Mining Mode discount.
- The veGOMINING question in the Academy quiz
- Miner Wars
- GoMining's free clan game built on Bitcoin's blocks, where your miner's power competes for BTC prizes. In Game Mode the base efficiency is a fixed 20 W/TH, and the Mining Mode discount doesn't apply.
- The 20 W/TH Game Mode constant
"Today" figures are calculated with live data from CoinGecko and mempool.space, electricity at $0.05/kWh and the pool factor of 0.995. The rules are those of GoMining's documentation as of 15 October 2026. If a term here changes, the methodology carries the date of every constant.
